The winter brings highs down to the 40's while Lunga Reservoir overnight low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 20's. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Aquia Creek, and the South Valley Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful.
