If you are traveling by, why not stop by Lowry Lake. After a long day outdoors Knights Inn - Charles Town is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and here at Lowry Lake you can catch a glimpse of Buzzard Rock. Not far from Lowry Lake, you'll locate Damazo Pond which is a pretty lake, and you'll perhaps meet some people from Hagerstown-Martinsburg here. High temperatures at Lowry Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly

| | in the 60's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lowry Lake. There's always Lowry Dam to explore in close proximity to Lowry Lake; a magnificent place to camp here at Lowry Lake is Maple Tree Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Green Country Inn is a wonderful location to get some rest; Lowry Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Brunswick Camp Site is a tremendous local campground. | |

Lakes? Sure, Daley Pond is close at hand; don't leave Lowry Lake without first checking out Weverton Cliffs. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lowry Lake is close to the national average; through May this area sees the
most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lowry Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Potomac River offers some glorious
whitewater; why not take a little spree to Israel Creek if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Pleasant Valley is a tremendous spot to visit near Lowry Lake; do take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. A spree to Catoctin Mountain Park is recommended.
