After a long day outdoors Knights Inn - Charles Town is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and here at Lowry Lake you can catch a glimpse of Buzzard Rock. Not far from Lowry Lake, you'll locate Damazo Pond which is a pretty lake, and you'll perhaps meet some people from Hagerstown-Martinsburg here. High temperatures at Lowry Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly       in the 60's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lowry Lake. There's always Lowry Dam to explore in close proximity to Lowry Lake; a magnificent place to camp here at Lowry Lake is Maple Tree Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Green Country Inn is a wonderful location to get some rest; Lowry Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Brunswick Camp Site is a tremendous local campground.                  Lakes? Sure, Daley Pond is close at hand; don't leave Lowry Lake without first checking out Weverton Cliffs. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lowry Lake is close to the national average; through May this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lowry Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Potomac River offers some glorious whitewater; why not take a little spree to Israel Creek if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Pleasant Valley is a tremendous spot to visit near Lowry Lake; do take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
