Through the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lower Norton Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Cane Patch Campground, and Upper Norton Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.       Paddling on Big Stony Creek is so much fun; if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn NORTON is a splendid choice. Lower Norton Reservoir is a pleasant spot to visit for more than one day, Bark Campground is a pleasant spot to camp nearby, and a great close by hotel is Inn at Norton. Knob Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and Eagle Knob is scenic and can be spotted from here. Just can't get enough of Lower Norton Reservoir.                  Benges Gap is close to Lower Norton Reservoir and is without doubt a fine spot to have a look at, and whitewater paddling is good on Big Stony - Mountain Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Pine Mountain Trail is always a splendid adventure. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, too good to be true. Do stop by Norton Reservoirs in the neighborhood of Lower Norton Reservoir, it's a pretty lake, and good water scenery is available at Lower Norton Reservoir Dam in the vicinity of Lower Norton Reservoir.
