Man, is there loads of amusing things to do near Lower Lake Shenandoah. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lower Lake Shenandoah has to offer, you can camp at Heavenly Acres Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Saddleback Mountain Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Charlottesville North, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Pocosin Trail.       Some of the water nearby flows, like Blue Run; Doubletree Hotel Charlottesville is a wonderful site to get some rest. There are some great whitewater spots on Rivanna River - North Fork, and do check out Lake Skyline, it's a stunning lake. Take a hike on the South River Falls Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend South River - Rapidan Tributary. This lake is so wonderful.
