This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Lower Lake Shenandoah, for example Lake Skyline, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the South River Falls Trail. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Lower Lake Shenandoah; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the       year is January. A pleasant location to camp here at Lower Lake Shenandoah is Heavenly Acres Campground; a nice nearby hotel is Doubletree Hotel Charlottesville. Not far from Lower Lake Shenandoah, you'll find Lake Shenandoah which is a gorgeous lake, and camping is available at Lewis Mountain Campground. Yeah, come here to Lower Lake Shenandoah for a nice time. A tremendous location for whitewater paddling near Lower Lake Shenandoah is South River - Rapidan                  Tributary, also Twin Lakes Dam Number Two is worth a visit if you're here. Courtyard Charlottesville North is a wonderful location to get some rest; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Rivanna River - North Fork. Through the summertime months at Lower Lake Shenandoah temperatures are mostly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Lower Lake Shenandoah night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
