In Virginia there are many beautiful lakes, Lock Haven Lake is one of them. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Roanoke Airport is a great location to spend a night or two, and if you came to camp Grindstone - George Washington National Forest is a glorious site to do that. All year is a great time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you fancy the outdoors. There's always Loch Haven Lake Dam to pop by next to Lock Haven Lake. There's so much to do here at Lock

Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff near Lock Haven Lake. Brookside Par 3 Golf Course is a golf course in close proximity to Lock Haven Lake, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Craig Creek.

for nearby lakes? Sure, Loch Haven Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Roanoke Super 8 Motel; there's perfect hiking along the Fenwick Nature Trail. The Blue Ridge Mountains
scenery is always beautiful.
Go for a hike on the North Mountain Trail, and you can run the rapids of Barbours Creek. From a precipitation point of view Lock Haven Lake is a relatively normal site; most of the rain falls throughout
July; February is the month with the least moisture.
Summertime at Lock Haven Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's
with temperatures at Lock Haven Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too great to be true. Booker T Washington National Monument is a glorious local destination
here at Lock Haven Lake, and don't leave Lock Haven Lake without first going for a hike along the Dragon Tooth Trail.
