Lock Haven Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm places, why not visit Carvins Cove Reservoir in the neighborhood of Lock Haven Lake; there are some delightful whitewater spots on Barbours Creek. Throughout the long summer days at Lock Haven Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down

| | during the winter temperatures at Lock Haven Lake fall into the 20's. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A good nearby hotel is Quality Inn Roanoke Airport, and the scenery at Loch Haven Lake Dam is wonderful.

no way anybody can get bored here at Lock Haven Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Brookside Par 3 Golf Course, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lock Haven Lake; Dragon Tooth Trail is a magnificent local trail. This lake
is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the North Mountain Trail, and camping at Beartree - George Washington National Forest is always a great experience.
After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Roanoke Va is a nice location
to spend a night or two, and the Fenwick Nature Trail offers hiking at its best. Lock Haven Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Visiting Booker T Washington National Monument is just something you need to do if you
