George Washington National Forest is a wonderful location for that. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Fenwick Nature Trail is good fun, and you're in all probability into lakes, Lock Haven Lake is one of those nearby.
Loch Haven Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Craig Creek right next door to Loch Haven Lake; Brookside Par 3 Golf Course is a splendid golf course close
by. A trip to Booker T Washington National Monument is recommended; Loch Haven Lake is right by the Dragon Tooth Trail.
Throughout the summer at Loch Haven Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down
to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are frequently in the 40's, and night lows at Loch Haven Lake all through the wintertime usually descend into the 20's. Loch Haven Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; most of the rain falls during July, and the driest month of the year is February.
