Lexington Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Glide down the rapids of Colliers Creek in a kayak, and you can stay the night at Jefferson National Forest. The Homestead has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and not far from Lexington Reservoir you'll hit upon Lake Robertson which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day

| | outdoors Natural Bridge Hotel is a glorious spot to spend a night or two; going for a hike on the White Rock Tower Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Lexington Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lexington Reservoir. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down | |

into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lexington Reservoir drop into the 10's. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. A nice sight
of delightful Brushy Mountain is available from Lexington Reservoir, and Lexington Reservoir is a glorious spot to visit for more than one day, Natural Bridge Koa is a glorious spot to camp nearby. Lexington Reservoir is one of
the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is great! Go for a hike on the North Branch Trail, and Ad Cox Knob Dam is not far at all from Lexington Reservoir.
Paddling on Simpson Creek is so much fun, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the North Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Lexington - Days Inn Keydet General is a glorious choice, and nearby you locate Tory Hollow which is a great place to visit.
