But wait, there's more to do near Leigh Pond. Camping at Williamsburg/Colonial KOA is always a brilliant experience, and playing golf is lots of fun at Gloucester Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Leigh Pond, you could also take a look at pretty Woodberry Farm Pond, and Comfort Inn Gloucester is a nice location to get       some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Cowpen Neck is around here and always perfect to pop by, and if you need a spot to stay Hampton Inn Gloucester is a perfect choice. Weaver Dam is a charming site right next door to Leigh Pond, and there are perfect spots to explore along the Lower Chippokes Creek Trail. Do explore Weaver Pond right next door to Leigh Pond, it's a pretty lake, and don't leave Leigh Pond without first going for a hike along the College Run                  Trail. Leigh Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Williamsburg KOA is a tremendous local campground, and the fine people of Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News like to hang out close by. Throughout the summer at Leigh Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Leigh Pond temperatures plunge to the 20's.
