Super 8 Motel - Middletown is a nice location to get some rest; since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Winchester. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is High View Manor Lake; a short visit to Buck Lick Spring is always worthwhile. The annual rainfall here at Lehmans Pond is about average; most of the rain falls all through July, and February is the month with the       least moisture. Lehmans Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Candy Hill Campground is a great local campground; on a good day you can take a hike along the Signal Knob Trail. Just can't get enough of Lehmans Pond. You could also check out Meadow Lake while you're here at Lehmans Pond; it's close by, and there's whitewater on Back Creek - Potomac Tributary for all you thrill seekers. Lehmans Dam is a place that is right next door to Lehmans                  Pond, and getting to Gough Run from Lehmans Pond is easy. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lehmans Pond you find Clapboard Hollow which is a great place to take a look at, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Stephens City is a brilliant location to spend a night or two. The Little Passage Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Lehmans Pond, and get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Cedar Creek. There is a wonderful hiking trail near Lehmans Pond called the Bear Wallow Trail, and Rock Harbor Golf Course is a good golf course close by. Through the summer highs here at Lehmans Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Lehmans Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. So many fun things to do at Lehmans Pond, so little time.
