This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Townwanda Lake right next door to Lawsons Pond, and a fine close by hotel is Appomattox Super 8 Motel. During the long summer days highs here at Lawsons Pond reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's.
