This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's so much to do here at Lake of the Clouds that you need to camp here for a while, Shenandoah River State Park is a glorious location for that. An average amount of precipitation falls at Lake of the Clouds; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. Loch Linden Lake is a glorious lake close to Lake of the Clouds, and no need to travel                  far to pop by exciting stuff like Lovers Leap. So much fun stuff to do here at Lake of the Clouds, too great to be true. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake of the Clouds has to offer, you can camp at Sky Meadows State Park, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Happy Creek. Through the warm days of summer at Lake of the Clouds highs are frequently in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Lake of the Clouds dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is perfect here at Lake of the Clouds, you can go for a hike along the Rattlesnake Trail, and Cloud Dam is not far at all from Lake of the Clouds. On a good day at Lake of the Clouds you can take a hike along the Dickey Hill Trail. Lakes? Sure, Deer Lake is around here. Yeah, come here to Lake of the Clouds for a glorious time. On a delightful day you get a panorama of The Blue Ball from Lake of the Clouds, and soar down the rapids of Shenandoah River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water?
