Go to Lake Wise if you want to go to a nice lake. Lake Wise gets a typical amount of yearly precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do next to Lake Wise. Whitewater paddling is great on Little Stony Creek, and Norton Super 8 Motel is a delightful site to get some rest. a hike on the Pine Mountain Trail. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Lake Wise reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 40's with
temperatures at Lake Wise dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Dan Hall Mountain Resort & Country Club, and paddling on Guest River is so much fun.
