A visit to Lake Wilda is always a good idea. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Lake Wilda has to offer. Deep Pond Run is a stream that you may run into during your stay, and Staunton - Days Inn Mint Springs is a perfect location to get some rest. | | nearby, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Cold Spring Bald Mountain Trail. The annual rainfall here at Lake Wilda is about average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.

from Staunton-Waynesboro here at Lake Wilda; if you've had enough of Lake Wilda, Hattons Pond is nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Microtel Inn Staunton is a splendid location to spend a night or two,
and you're almost certainly addicted to lakes, Mountain Lake is one of those nearby. Lake Wilda is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's whitewater on Marl Creek - South R.Trib for all you adrenaline people.
High
temperatures at Lake Wilda through the days of summer are in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lake
Wilda drop into the 10's. Very charming scenery and great skiing is what you get at Wintergreen, and nice water scenery is available at South River Number Seven Dam in close proximity to Lake Wilda.
