If you are in Virginia Beach (city) county it's always a good idea to stop by Lake Smith. Summer at Lake Smith arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 70's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Lake Smith. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Smith. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the High Dune Trail is tremendous fun. Why not camp at Providence Mobile Court since you're here at Lake Smith, and do have a look at Little Creek Reservoir, it's a picturesque lake. Take a hike on the Osmanthus Trail, and lots of people from Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News come here.

Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is Red Carpet Inn Virginia Beach; you'll stumble on a stunning lake called Lake Lawson.
