Beldor Ridge Trail
 | 15 miles away The trail may be fine, but I would avoid venturing too deep into Beldor hollow road. These people have lived here for a very long time, and ''dont take kind to strangers''. Just to give you guys an idea, my father worked as a volunteer fire fighter for the Elkton fire department. They got a call for a fire and took a wrong turn. When they went to turn around they had a car, that was not a car that ran, placed in the middle of the road. Quite a feat. After an altercation with the shotgun wielding locals, they were finally pursuaded that someone could be dying while they werent allowing them out. Finally they moved the car back. Same for several of the hollows around elkton(pronounced ''hollar'' by the local folk). Beldor, Lynnwood, to a lesser extent thouroughfare area. Also Bryant Hollow can be a little rough if they dont reconize you as well.... |
