During the days of summer at Lake Powell highs are regularly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while Lake Powell night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. Colonial Golf Course & Golf Academy is a wonderful golf course close by, and the Forestry Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Take a look at nearby Back River Marsh, and a great       nearby hotel is Wedmore Place. Powhatan Plantation is a good spot to get some rest; Lake Powell is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Jamestown Beach Campsites is a fine local campground. A quick journey to Kingsmill Creek right next door to Lake Powell is a glorious idea; if you came to camp Five Forks Motel and Campground is a delightful place to do that. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff at Lake Powell. Why not                  take a refreshing hike along the James River Trail. Lakes are nice; Matoaka Lake is a lake that's close to Lake Powell. Not far from Lake Powell, you'll discover Rennicks Pond which is a picturesque lake. Why not visit Lake Powell Dam if you're here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Powell; College Run Trail is a splendid local trail. Lake Powell sees pretty high levels of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here while April is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
