The warmest time of the year at Lake Neda arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Lake Neda night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. The high       level of rain makes Lake Neda a relatively wet site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is April. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Snow White Motel is a great choice, and you'll stumble on a lovely lake called Lake Margaret. After a long day outdoors Hyatt Place Richmond Chester is a good place to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Appomattox River.                  Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in close proximity to Lake Neda. Lake Dale Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and if you have time to spare, Prince William Forest Park is a national park worth stopping at. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on James River is so much fun, and Lake Neda is not far at all from Richmond.
