Hiking along the Belle Meade Linden Trail is magnificent fun, and do take a hike on the Rattlesnake Trail. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Rush River; Shenandoah River State Park is a good local campground.

for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Rappahannock River. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Mosby. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 40's,
and overnight lows at Lake Mosby through the wintertime commonly fall into the 10's. The yearly rainfall here at Lake Mosby is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January.
