In Virginia there are many beautiful lakes, Lake Montclair is one of them. Dumfries Days Inn is a good location to get some rest; you can stay the night at Prince william Travel Trailer Village. This lake is so wonderful. A lovely lake like Camp One Lake close to Lake Montclair is a magnificent place to have a look at, and dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Dumfries/Quantico. | | first going for a hike along the Calvin Branch Mine Trail. There's so much to do here at Lake Montclair that you need to camp here for a while, Turkey Run Ridge Campground is a delightful location for that.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Lake Montclair, you could visit Headly Run, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Quantico Creek. People from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria love to come to Lake Montclair, | |

and you can take a little trip to Lake Montclair Dam while you're here at Lake Montclair. Lake Montclair gets a common amount of annual rainfall; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January.
Go for
a hike on the Quantico Falls Trail; enjoy a round of golf at Old Hickory Golf Club. There's whitewater on Quantico Creek - South Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. For the period of the months of summer here at Lake Montclair,
high temperatures typically get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 40's while Lake Montclair overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the
20's.
Lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Camp Four Lake near Lake Montclair, and going for a hike on the North Valley Trail is always a wonderful adventure.
