The beauty of Lake Lawson is reason enough to stop by. Summertime highs at Lake Lawson mostly tend to be in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, regularly in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Lake Lawson. There's fine hiking along the Lagoon Trail, and at Little Creek Dam near Lake Lawson there are some attention-grabbing things to see. This lake is so wonderful. A picturesque

Why not take a refreshing hike along the High Dune Trail; if you're going to from Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News, you won't be the only one. much to do here at Lake Lawson that you need to camp here for a while, First Landing State Park is a brilliant place for that.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Lake Lawson. Lakes are such serene spots, why not
take a look at Lake Smith close to Lake Lawson, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Cypress Point Golf Club is around here. Lake Lawson sees pretty high levels of rainfall; July is the month that gets the most
rain, and April is when it's the driest. Do schedule some time to check out Desert Cove in close proximity to Lake Lawson if you have a chance, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Best Western Inn.
