Go to Lake Keokee if you want to go to a nice lake. At Lake Keokee during the summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Keokee dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Big Stone Gap, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Stock Creek. Lake Keokee generally gets a large amount

So much entertaining stuff to do here at Lake Keokee, too tremendous to be true. Garrison Hollow is a glorious location to check out nearby. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Keokee has to offer, you can camp at Cave Springs Campground. is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Craborchard Creek flows through this neighborhood. There's so much to do here at Lake Keokee that you need to camp here for a while, Jessie Lea Recreational Vehicle Park-Campground
is a great site for that.
That right there is lots of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains has it all. Near Lake Keokee you stumble on the Daniel Boone Trail which is a splendid hiking trail;
in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Powell River. The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
