While you're here at Lake Holly you can take a hike along the Wilderness Trail, and after a long day outdoors Ruther Glen Howard Johnson Express Inn is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. Lake Holly in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Have                  a delightful hiking adventure along the Broomstraw Trail; get soaked paddling on North Anna River. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Holly has to offer, you can camp at R&D Family Campground. Lakes are such serene places, why not check out Collins Pond right next door to Lake Holly, and whitewater paddling is good on Little River - North Anna Tributary. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Lake Holly, you can go for a hike along the Cedar Trail; you can take a little visit to Lake Holly Dam since you're here at Lake Holly.
