Lake Edward is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Dry warm beds await you at Towneplace Suites By Marriott Virginia Beach; do take a hike on the Lagoon Trail. Hiking along the Osmanthus Trail is splendid fun, and camping at First Landing State Park is always a good experience. At Lake Edward throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 70's. For the duration of the winter highs are

| | in the 40's while Lake Edward nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Lake Wright is close by. Man, is there a load of enjoyable stuff to do next to Lake Edward. Lake Edward is good enough to spend more than a day at, Providence Mobile Court is a good local campground, and if you need a place to stay Homewood Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach is a fine choice. for a hike along the High Dune Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Lake Taylor Dam is a picturesque place.
Getting to Pattersons Creek from Lake Edward is uncomplicated, and next to Lake Edward you stumble
on a golf course called Lake Wright Golf Course. Lake Edward is a wet spot that gets a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month of the year is April. You'll meet a lot of people from Virginia
Beach-Norfolk-Newport News here, and there are other places here than Lake Edward, for example Lake Taylor.
