Be careful coming to Lake De Jarnette, you might not ever want to go home again. The Sawdust Trail is a good hiking trail close to Lake De Jarnette; a lake nearby is Caroline Pines Lake. You can take a little tour to Lake De Jarnette Dam while you're here at Lake De Jarnette, and a fine location for whitewater paddling is Little River - North Anna Tributary. All the water falling       down from the sky makes Lake De Jarnette a wet place; most of the rain falls during July, and February meanwhile is the driest month. While you're here at Lake De Jarnette you can take a hike along the Gracik Trail, and North Anna River is a delightful whitewater spot close by. Bull Run flows through this region, and an afternoon playing golf at Mattaponi Springs Golf Club is always a diversion. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come                  on down to Lake De Jarnette. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake De Jarnette with night lows in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 40's, and night lows during the wintertime for Lake De Jarnette tend to be in the 20's. Lake De Jarnette is not far at all from Richmond; on a great day you can take a hike along the Coon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Lake De Jarnette is Paramount's Kings Dominion Campground; after a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Doswell is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Why not camp at Milford Koa Kampground if you're here at Lake De Jarnette, and if you get bored of Lake De Jarnette you could also have a look at nearby Lake DeJarnette. This lake is so wonderful.
