Lake Culpeper is a lake worth visiting. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Culpeper while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Lake Culpeper tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Culpeper that you can go to, and Lake Front Royal Dam is not far at all from Lake Culpeper. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in close proximity to Lake Culpeper has to offer.
Get yourself
into a kayak and hit Gooney Run, and the Bluff Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Moore Run is a great local stream, and since you're here and you like golf, you can have a
look at Jackson's Chase Golf Club.
Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. There's so much to do here at Lake Culpeper that you need to camp here for a while, Shenandoah
River State Park is a glorious site for that; if you get bored of Lake Culpeper you could also stop at close by Lake Front Royal. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lake Culpeper is close to the national average; through July
this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. On a gorgeous day you obtain a view of Carson Mountain from Lake Culpeper, and there's great hiking along the The Peak Trail.
