Virginia has many beautiful lakes and Lake Carroll is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Tomahawk Pond Campground is a good place to camp, and Lake Carroll is right by the Hunkerson Gap Trail. Lake Carroll is next to Lake Carroll Dam which is a scenic place without doubt worth checking out, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel Mount Jackson is a delightful choice. Woodstock Reservoir
