Lakes are delightful; Lehigh Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Lake Barcroft. From a precipitation point of view Lake Barcroft is a pretty common place; through the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is typically the driest month. Pinecrest Golf Course is a golf course near Lake Barcroft; why not take a little tour to Tripps Run while       you're here. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Lake Barcroft. A glorious close by hotel is Comfort Inn Landmark. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Lake Barcroft. There are some great whitewater spots on Four Mile Run, and lots of folks from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria come here. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Arlington Blvd/DC Gateway is a great choice;                  close by you stumble on the Rock Creek Park Bike Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. A visit to Fort Washington Park is worthwhile, and fine water scenery is available at Lake Barcroft Dam next to Lake Barcroft. The warmest time of the year at Lake Barcroft arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Lake Barcroft. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Barcroft is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Harmony Place Trailer Park is a magnificent location to camp nearby, and there's whitewater on Pimmit Run for all you adrenaline rush seekers. The Swamp Trail is a good hiking trail near Lake Barcroft, and not far from Lake Barcroft you'll come across Georgetown Reservoir which is a gorgeous lake.
