A visit to Lake Bacova is always a good idea. If you need a site to stay The Homestead Resort is a great choice, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by The Homestead. Don't leave Lake Bacova without first going for a hike along the Winding Trail, and Gristmill Square The Inn is a good location to get some rest. A nice location near Lake Bacova is Coles Hollow; why not a little side visit to Cowardin Run.

This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the McDonald Trail; Lake Bacova Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. You just can't envision the amount
of outdoors exciting stuff the area right next door to Lake Bacova has to offer. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Ellis Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and get your heart beating on the perfect whitewater
of Jackson River.
Lake Bacova gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is July, and February meanwhile is the driest month. It's always great to check out Grose Spring, and Blowing Springs Campground is a fine campground here.
