If you like lakes and you're in this part of Virginia you can check out Lake Arrowhead. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There are perfect spots to look at along the White Oak Canyon Trail, and after a long day outdoors Cardinal Inn By Silver Star is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. A journey to Shenandoah National Park is worthwhile, and whitewater paddling is nice on Rose River.
