This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn Springfield Old Keene Mill; do take a hike on the Upland Trail. Lake Accotink gets a typical amount of rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures       at Lake Accotink through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 40's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Lake Accotink dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Accotink Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; if you're going to from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, you won't be the only one. Pohick                  Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and camping is available at Christopher Run Campground. So many cool things to do here at Lake Accotink, too tremendous to be true. Lake Accotink is right by the Potomac Heritage Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Fairfax Park is a great place to camp. If you get bored of Lake Accotink, you could also take a look at close by Lake Hatch, and if you have time, Fort Washington Park is a national park worth taking a look at. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll fancy Lake Accotink.
