All the water falling down from the sky makes Lafferty Pond a wet place; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest month is April. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Lafferty Pond reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the       60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Lafferty Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lafferty Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Woodbourne Kampgrounds is a brilliant local campground, and while you're here, you could also visit pretty Groves Lake. A pleasant spot to camp here at Lafferty Pond is Rainbow Acres Camping Resort, and a good location to check out is Gregory Bar.
