Goose Creek
10 miles away Tried to put in at the Fairfax Dam but the City of Fairfax has closed the road and posted no trespassing signs everywhere. Seem to be pretty serious about prosecuting violators and towing cars. The portage around dam is too hard for rafts and steep for others....
Greenville Farm Family Campground
11 miles away August 2006 - the campground is NOT closed. They're still in operation, and very nice and helpful, so give them a call....Park sold and closed permanently on April 27, 2002 for development...
Greenbelt Park
55 miles away Regular camping fees at this time (06/08) are $16/night. I have been camping at Greenbelt Park every summer for a week for the last 7 years. It was always at $14 up till last year when it went up to $16. Great Park though! Love it!...
