If you like lakes and you're in this part of Virginia you can check out Kimble Lake. Throughout the summertime at Kimble Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Kimble Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Inn At Ridgewood Farm is a good choice; during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Roanoke for sure. And that's not everything you
can do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Barnhardt Creek flows through this area, and a great nearby hotel is Days Inn Salem. This lake is so wonderful. Grindstone - George Washington National Forest is a nice local campground,
and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Salem Golf Course is close at hand. Why not camp at Beartree - George Washington National Forest since you're here at Kimble Lake, and get dripping wet paddling on Craig Creek.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Roanoke River - South Fork, and Kimble Lake is right by the Trout Creek Appalachian Trail.
