Galax Knights Inn is a magnificent spot to get some rest; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the Yellow Branch Trail.
All year is a good time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Going
for a hike on the Cliff Branch Trail is always a delightful adventure. There is a good hiking trail close to Kennedys Lake called the Bournes Branch Trail, and why not explore Russell Dam since you're here. So many enjoyable things
to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too glorious to be true. Stay the night at Carrollwood Campground, and a perfect spot for whitewater paddling is New River.
