Get yourself into a kayak and hit Dan River, and KOA Camp Lake is not the only spot close by, Owens Fishing Lakes is a close by lake. You can take a little visit to KOA Camp Dam since you're here at KOA Camp Lake, and you're sure to run into some cheerful folks from Danville here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Sleepy Hollow Lake & Campground, and after a long day       outdoors INNKEEPER Danville North is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. KOA Camp Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through July, and January on the other hand is the driest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area close to KOA Camp Lake has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Elkhorn Park is a tremendous spot to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn , Inn & Suites. High                  temperatures at KOA Camp Lake during the months of summer are in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's.
