KOA Camp Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. If you came for an overnight stay Elkhorn Park is a splendid place to camp, and KOA Camp Dam is a picturesque site. High temperatures at KOA Camp Lake throughout the summertime are in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows at KOA Camp Lake throughout the wintertime mostly sink into the 20's. A great nearby hotel

| | is INNKEEPER Danville North; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Dan River. This lake is so wonderful. Sleep Inn , Inn & Suites is a great place to get some rest; camping is available at Swan Lake Campground. The high level of rain makes KOA Camp Lake a quite wet location; the month with most of the rain is July while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. KOA Camp Lake is not far at all from Danville.
