The warmest time of the year at Jones Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and overnight lows at Jones Pond during the wintertime commonly drop into the 20's. What a site this is for outdoors people. Take a hike on the Murder Trail. This lake is so       wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Burnt Pine Trail; Jones Pond is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Caledon Natural Area is a fine location to camp nearby. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Jones Pond; Maiden Fair Trail is a perfect local trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Jones Pond has to offer, you can camp at Big Timber Campground. Jones Pond gets a good deal of water; August is when you get                  the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture.
