Jones Pond is always a pleasure to visit. If you haven’t been to Booker T Washington National Monument, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here, and the panorama of Fork Mountain is beautiful. A glorious location to camp here at Jones Pond is Indian Heritage RV Park, and if you're here, you could also stop by delightful Martinsville Reservoir. | | reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Jones Pond.
If you come at the right time of year, North Mayo offers some perfect whitewater, and Reservoir Number 2 is a nearby lake that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Jones Pond; Casters Trail is a great local trail, and dry warm beds await | |

look at close to Jones Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. Draper Mill Creek is in close proximity to Jones Pond and is always a delight to visit, and at Jones Pond you always meet someone from Martinsville. Jones Pond gets a large
amount of water; during October this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mayo River - North Fork; camping at Goose Dam Campground is always a good experience.
