If you're a golfer then a glorious nearby course is Colonial Golf Course & Golf Academy; nearby you stumble on the James River Trail which is a good hiking trail.
Haring Swamp is a stream that you may bump into while you're here, and Jones Millpond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Anvil Campground is a tremendous local campground. There are splendid spots to discover along the College Run Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Williamsburg-Days Inn Busch Gardens.
