Holdrens Dam has brilliant water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Holdrens Pond; a splendid       nearby hotel is Super 8 Bedford. Get yourself into a kayak and hit North Creek, and Booker T Washington National Monument is a pleasant local destination. Holdrens Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. For the duration of the summer months here at Holdrens Pond, high temperatures generally get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight                  here at Holdrens Pond. Hickory Lake is a great lake near Holdrens Pond, and the peak of Board Mountain can be seen from Holdrens Pond. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Holdrens Pond you can take a hike along the Curry Creek Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Jennings Creek.
