Hoge Pond is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Interstate Overnight Park is a good location to camp, and a nice spot to visit nearby is Fox Hollow. This spot, the Blue Ridge Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting things. At Hoge Pond you always meet someone from Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford; there is a good hiking trail nearby called       the Poverty Creek Horse Trail. So many amusing things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not sufficient time. Near Hoge Pond you locate the War Spur Trail which is a great hiking trail; while you're here and you like golf, you can pop by Blacksburg Municipal Golf Course. Some nearby water includes Walls Branch, and Holiday Inn Blacksburg, Va is a great spot to get some rest. If you like the outdoors, you'll adore Hoge Pond. On a great day at Hoge Pond you                  can take a hike along the Brush Mountain Horse Trail, and do have a look at Pandapas Pond, it's a delightful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at New River Junction Campground since you're here at Hoge Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Little River - New R. Tributary offers some glorious whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Little Stony Creek in a kayak; if you need a site to stay Hawthorn Blacksburg University is a fine choice. The amount of rainfall that falls at Hoge Pond is close to the national average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. All through the summertime at Hoge Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
