Hilltop Pond commonly gets a large amount of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest
with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Accotink Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot in the vicinity of Hilltop Pond, and not far from Hilltop Pond you'll stumble on Lake Accotink which is a beautiful lake. This
lake is so wonderful. This is a popular site for folks from Washington-Arlington-Alexandria, and golf can be played at Pohick Bay Golf Course.
