Many people like to go to Henleys Lake. For the period of the summer highs here at Henleys Lake reach the 80's, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Henleys Lake fall into the 20's. A picturesque lake like Sportsman Lake close to Henleys Lake is a perfect site to take a look at, and do pop by Parrott Branch if you're here at Henleys

| | Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Henleys Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Loft Mountain Campgrounds is a good place for that, and THE CAVALIER INN AT THE UNIVERSITY is a great spot to get some rest.
Henleys Lake is a good place of normal rain; through the month of August you get the most rain around here; January on the other hand is the driest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things | |

at Henleys Lake. A fine close by hotel is Boars Head Inn. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Henleys Lake. Stay the night at Misty Mountain Camp Resort, and splendid water scenery is available
at Henleys Dam near Henleys Lake.
If the weather is pleasant here at Henleys Lake, you can go for a hike along the Riprap Trail, and skiing at Wintergreen is one of those things you just should do. While you're here at Henleys
Lake you can take a hike along the Falls Trail; Moormans River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Henleys Lake you'll perhaps meet some people from Charlottesville, and Meadow Branch
Hollow is also a splendid spot to look at.
Lake Albemarle is a nice lake close to Henleys Lake, and the view of Beaver Creek Mountain is lovely. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Turk Branch Trail, and paddling on Buck Mountain Creek is so much fun.
