Yeah, come here to Henleys Lake for a tremendous time. The peak of Beaver Creek Mountain can be seen from Henleys Lake. Parrott Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. Lakes are tremendous; Beaver Creek Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Henleys Lake. Henleys Lake is a good site of normal rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and January       is the month with the least moisture. So many enjoyable things to do here at Henleys Lake, too pleasant to be true. Not far from Henleys Lake, you'll locate Bermbergers Pond which is a beautiful lake; a nice nearby hotel is THE CAVALIER INN AT THE UNIVERSITY. Meadow Branch Hollow is close to Henleys Lake and is a pleasant site, and if you need a spot to stay Boars Head Inn is a pleasant choice. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Henleys Lake. Once the                  sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Henleys Lake tend to be in the 20's. A good location to camp here at Henleys Lake is Misty Mountain Camp Resort, and you can hit the slopes at Wintergreen close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Loft Mountain Campgrounds if you're here at Henleys Lake; there's pleasant hiking along the Turk Branch Trail. Henleys Dam has fine water scenery and it's near Henleys Lake, and there are plenty of people from Charlottesville here at Henleys Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Henleys Lake; Falls Trail is a glorious local trail; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Buck Mountain Creek.
