Harrisonburg Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. High temperatures at Harrisonburg Reservoir through the long summer days are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Harrisonburg Reservoir. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do near Harrisonburg Reservoir. Recreational is always a good experience, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Massanutten. This lake is so wonderful. Harrisonburg Reservoir is not the only place close by, Mud Pond is a close by lake,
and camping is available at Bandywine Lake Campground. Looking for something close to Harrisonburg Reservoir? Lower North River Site 82 Lake is close by, and the Dictum Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
Black Run is close to Harrisonburg Reservoir and is always a diversion to go to; Holiday Inn Express Harrisonburg, Virginia is a great location to get some rest. At Harrisonburg Reservoir you can see Prospect Knob; whitewater
paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Dry River. There's whitewater on Briery Branch for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and during your visit here you'll meet some people from Harrisonburg for sure.
