Beautiful Hamlins Pond has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Appomattox River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby; at Hamlins Pond you always meet someone from Richmond. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Hamlins Pond. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows at Hamlins Pond throughout the winter generally fall into the 20's.
