Do stop by Hamlins Pond while you're in this part of Virginia. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Hamlins Pond is not far at all from Richmond, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Petersburg is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably addicted to lakes, Wilcox Lake is one of those close by, and if you need a site to stay Petersburg-Days Inn Fort Lee/South is a good choice.
