After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Waynesboro is a great spot to spend a night or two; get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Stoney Creek. A quick visit to Allen Creek in the vicinity of Hamilton Lake is a great idea, and if you get bored of Hamilton Lake you could also have a look at close by Lake Monocan. A common amount of precipitation falls here       at Hamilton Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Go for a hike on the White Rock Gap Trail. Camping is available at Lake Nelson Campground; going for a hike on the Mills Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure. Summertime at Hamilton Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. If you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Swannanoa Country Club; Wintergreen is a splendid local ski area. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be.
