Why not stop by Hale Lake if you're passing through these parts. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on New River, and one of the principal traits of the surroundings of Hale Lake is Buzzard Rock. Camping at Raccoon Branch Campground is always a good experience, and going for a hike along the Little Dry Run Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available

This lake is so wonderful. Hale Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out, and the Virginia Highland Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. Wolfpen Branch is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Crigger Creek Trail. Hale Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. If you need a site to stay Grayson Inn & Suites is a great choice, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on New River. Not enough hours in a day
to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. You might want to pay a visit to Blue Spring Gap while you're here at Hale Lake, and a good close by hotel is Relax Inn. A large amount of rainfall falls at Hale Lake; of all the months in a year
July is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is November.
Through the summertime highs here at Hale Lake get into the 80's, and the night is somewhat chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Hale Lake temperatures sink to the 20's.
