Greene Hills Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. A good place to camp here at Greene Hills Lake is Heavenly Acres Campground. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. You can run the rapids of Rapidan River near Greene Hills Lake; wonderful water scenery is available at Greene Hills Dam next to Greene Hills Lake. Greene Hills                  Lake is right by the Jones Mountain Trail, and Doubletree Hotel Charlottesville is a magnificent spot to get some rest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Greene Hills Lake; Pocosin Hollow Trail is a nice local trail, and why not camp at Shenandoah Hills Campground if you're here at Greene Hills Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you obtain a vista of Goodall Mountain from Greene Hills Lake, and of course Henshaw Run flows through this neighborhood. You're possibly interested in lakes, Pruess Farm Pond is one of those close by; there's whitewater on Conway River for all you thrill seekers. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Greene Hills Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's.
