What a nice lake Greene Development Lake is. A good close by hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Charlottesville North, and if you're here, you could go to Bull Yearling Run. Greene Development Lake is not the only site nearby, Pruess Farm Pond is a nearby lake, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to make out at Greene Acres Dam close to Greene Development Lake. A cool spot to check out near Greene Development Lake is Octonia Park, and Greene Development Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Lewis Mountain Campground is a glorious local campground. Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter the highs are generally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Greene
Development Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something right next door to Greene Development Lake? Lake Skyline is in the neighborhood, and you can make out Jarrell Mountain from Greene Development Lake. That right
there is lots already, but it continues; Greene Development Lake has it all. There's magnificent hiking along the South River Falls Trail. This is a popular location for people from Charlottesville; don't leave Greene Development
Lake without first going for a hike along the Pocosin Trail.
And that's not all you can do here at Greene Development Lake. A tour to Shenandoah National Park is worthwhile; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's
