This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Long Creek Trail, and camping at Holiday Trav-l Park is always a fine experience. Take a side tour to Eastern Branch Lynnhaven River, and a tour to nearby Broad Bay is very relaxing. Dry warm beds await you at Travelodge Virginia Beach, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport       News. Do go to Great Neck Dam if you're here at Great Neck Lake, and Great Neck Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, First Landing State Park is a delightful local campground. All through the warmest time of the year, highs commonly are in the 80's at Great Neck Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 70's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Great Neck Lake.                  Great Neck Lake is right by the High Dune Trail, and a golf course close by is Bow Creek Municipal Golf Course. Hiking along the Lagoon Trail is tremendous fun, and after a long day outdoors Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center is a brilliant site to spend a night or two.
