This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rappahannock River, and a stunning lake like Jennings Pond is a perfect spot to stop by. A perfect nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites THORNBURG - S. FREDERICKSBURG, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Grays Pond; Coon Trail is a brilliant local trail. Grays Pond is glorious enough to spend more than a day       at, Indian Acres Club Of Thornburg is a glorious local campground, and there's splendid hiking along the Gracik Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Grays Pond is a good place of typical precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Thornburg is a nice place to spend a night or two, and you'll find a wonderful lake called Wrights Pond. This lake is so wonderful.                  Gordons Dam is an interesting thing to check out; magnificent hiking is available along the Jackson Trail. Camping at Fredericksburg Koa Kampground is always a delightful experience, and get soaked paddling on Rapidan River. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Grays Pond. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's.
